Pressure ulcer or more commonly known as bed sore, is one of the most common problems in a nursing home. It is because most of our residents are lying in their bed the whole day that causes pressure in the skin especially at the back bony part of the body that hinders the blood flow. That is why it is very important for the certified nursing assistants or the cna to make sure that their residents have to regularly change their lying position in bed to prevent this problem. Here is a video presented by Lawyers Video Studio explaining the cause of bed sore and how to prevent it.
